Tech, what are the benifits of using just the EIBACHS in the rear, and also how does it look? Did it even out the stance of the car, My 91 T sits a lil high in the rear and I would like to fix this, I just purchased the 16X7 factory 99 rims and a set of 255/50/16s, before I put my shocks on I would like to do the springs and put my ENERGY SUSPENSION bushings on, thanks for your help. :)

Eibach says they lower the rear 0.8" The reduction of wheel travel is the same amount!

1qck - See my pics - I have Eibachs F/R, 16x7 Q rims and 255/50's.

I'd be leery of using them only in the rear, as this would upset the suspension geometry. The Q was engineered to have a slight rake, and the Eibachs maintain this.

Your car was like mine - The front springs wore faster, and it began to look "jacked up" in the rear.

The has to be a stiffness relationship between the front and rear spring rates to minimize oscillations as the car goes over small highway bumps.Eibach is pretty good at maintaing the correct percentages of increases and luckily they collaborate with Tokico to roughly match the springs with the Blue series shocks . It's far from perfect but adequate.............at least for 20-30,000 miles on the shocks.

The biggest problem with Eibachs [any cheap lowering springs] is rebound when the springs may come up and off the seats and rattle momentarily!.........because the shocks don't have enogh rebound control to keep the springs in place.
