The other day I noticed an orange tube sticking out underneath the bottom of my 1997 Q45t. It hangs down only about an inch from underneath the front left side, just in formr the wheel well. I haven't had time to look into it further. Any guesses what it is for???

Possibly the AC condensation drain tube...

Maybe some other Q owners can elaborate or correct me.

If it's what I think it is, it would be the drain tube for the oil filter. There is catch pan under the oil filter and has a hose that runs down. On the drivers side, right?

Left side? Passenger side? In front of the wheel well? There is also a yellowish, orangeish looking tube that extends from the radiator drain plug.

You may be right ,it is on the driver side. I checked my oil levels and its okay, Is it supposedto hang down like that?

Mine sits just inside the splash guard. I'll usually rest a small funnel at the hose when I change my filter out. Helps keep the oil from going where I don't want.

You could just tuck it in the splash guard and out of the way till you change your filter.

That is the oil filter drain. Nice design so oil doesn't drip everywhere.
