I have a 2009 sedan, 2.5 with manual transmission. A couple months ago, the clutch master cylinder was replaced under warranty by the dealer. I recently noticed on this hose coming out of the brake fluid reservoir (which I'm pretty sure is what feeds the clutch master cylinder), there's no hose clamp. Common sense would indicate that there should be a hose clamp here.
So, on a car that hasn't been messed with, is there in fact a hose clamp there? If so, what type? I would guess it's probably the "spring" type of hose clamp (just a metal band that stays on by its own tension).
Another question in the same general area...There's this brass fitting that looks like some kind of bleeder valve:
It connects to this coiled pipe, which seems very strange to me
The coiled pipe and brass fitting look to not be connected to the clutch system. What is it? Brakes? Power steering? Something else?
