Do you still have the specs on the W57 transmission plate you made? I agree with your logic as far as availability and price. I think this is the way I'd rather go. Plus it opens up more options in the future.

I didn't make it, I paid a dodgy fabricator to make it for me (before I realised I could do a better job myself).

Also, it's not an adaptor plate, but the factory auto bellhousing modified to allow the W57 to bolt on to it.

I see no reason why not to do this same thing again, except using a supra R154 box in the W57's stead.

Either way, I can provide front face to back face measurements, and possibly some dimensions for aligning the gearbox holes with the centerline of the crank, however this is going to be VH41DE specific.

Finding the centerline was my main worry. Anything you could provide would be appreciated.

Not really sure how it was done, I didn't do it... though I imagine with some careful measuring from predefined reference points, it can be managed. I'd be inclined to start with a bounding box and go from there.
