QUESTION FOR M45 TECH RE: HEADLAMP HOUSING ASSEMBLY

......my car was unfortunately involved in a little fender bender and the front end to my car is slightly damaged. since both headlamp assemblies are going to be replaced along with a new bumber, i was wondering if anyone knows for sure if the sport M45 headlights are a direct bolt-on to a non-sport M45. i wanted to take advantage of this situation and upgrade to the black M45 sport housing. from what i hear everything is a direct match except for the color of course (black vs. light)any techs out there know anything about this subject?

They should be the same..You might want to make sure you have AFS because i think all sports came with AFS. If you can look at the back of your lights and you have 4 connectors you should be good.

oh yes, my car definetly has AFS. the lights move around freely at night as i drive.

I'm trying to do the same on my m35 but I haven't had a fender bender. My issue is finding the damn OEM sport assembly. Maybe I suck at looking but so far I've turned up nothing

the OEM headlight housing for the 06/07 M35 sport

I like the black finish on those things and want that headlight assembly on my non-sport 35x.
