Do the adjustable tension rods take away from ride quality? I still haven't gone and purchased me replacement rods. I have a slightly out of spec caster and I'm guessing that these are a quick fix for that, but I don't want to lose too much ride quality.

Spectre,

Well not to put too fine a point on it, but my car rides pretty harsh.

It's hard to narrow the cause down to any single mod, as there are so many suspension mods on the car.

I would think I wouldn't expect the adjustable tension rods to cause too much deteriation in the ride, maybe the steering would see a bit more kickback. But honestly that is just an educated guess on my part...:oface

I have never driven the car with just that one mod in it.

Fred...:)

(I love your quick reply box!) Well here's my dilema: My 240 is suffering from worn out leaking bushings. I don't feel like experiencing that again, but I've heard that poly-bushings are so stiff that I might as well bet the adjustable rods. My other problem is that I share cars with my dad. I'm paying for the 240, but my dad doesn't want me to make the ride unreasonably harsh. Personally, I want some ride comfort too. Would you say the rough steering makes up for the problems caused by the worn out bushings.
