Question for everyone

Here's the deal, I have a dark gray G35, and saw some wheels that were black with a Red lip. I was wondering if anyone has a wheel like this on their car so i can see what they look like, or if you just wanted to give an opinion...I know its kind of a dumb thread, but i'm curious. lol Thanks!

Actually I've just seen one with red inserts today. I am shopping tires for my G. What can I say I am a spirited driver.

Back to the thread. I try to go back on the history to see I can pull those wheels.

I am officially dumb. So my wife asked me what I was searching I told her about the wheel I've seen. So I told her that was a wheel with the red insert. She says what we seen on the weekend at the tire shop.

I swear to god I thought I've seen it on the net. Aparently not.

Anyways I thought it would look good on the red coupe but I don't know about other colors.

I think tirerack has a program where you can put wheels on your model car to see how they look...

That's not weird at all - I think the market is saturated with the chrome bling and more alloy colors and painted lips/rims are being done.

There is a new Harley F150 in the streets of Baltimore that has black 24" rims - but the whole lip piece is painted orange - this truck is soooo hot. I also saw a black beemer with black rims and only the edge of the lip was painted red. I think you will see more and more of this. I'm not sure I would do black and red on a grey car but that is just me. If your car is grey then go with a Hyper Black (Grey) color rim.



Tirerack won't have anything like this on their site. I will see if I can find a picture.

The Yamahas used to come with DK if they still do but they had black wheels with a red lip on the black Yamahas. They looked very very very nice imho but idk how it would look on the dark grey. ive only seen it done on a black vehicle. Ive seen it on a Black RX7 also...

WOW I really like the rims..they make the red coupe that more appealing to me if I could find some rims like that to put some on it..nice pic

You can always find a reliable shop that paints wheels and then get any type that you want!!! Where are you located?
