Question for current owners about heater/defrost equipment

We have had some extremely cold weather here lately. I am curious for those who already have their Versa's if their heating and defrosting equipment is adequate for the interior of the car in order to keep the windows clear of frost buildup? Does the engine provide heat fairly quickly?

Our cold certainly can't compare to yours, but the frost we've had here with a couple of nights in the 20's has been no match for the defrosters and my trusty plastic scraper! It's taken no more than a few minutes to warm and clear the entire windshield, as long as I've scraped it.

Last night we got it good, and the snow is still falling. I didn't have to scrape the window, I just let the car warm up with the defroster On(A/C off) for about 15minutes. It melted all the ice and I only had to turn the wipers on the clear them off.

Although it hasn't been very cold here yet, my engine warms up super-fast. Obviously you should give yourself adequate time to warm it up, but it should be pretty quick.

i was kinda disapointed the back of my car was always fogging up. The best temp range i had my defrost before it would fog was at 2. Also depends how much moisture in your car. But snow and the cold dont match so yea.

it was -16 here and with the windchill it was came to -30 celcius thats -22 in Fahrenheit. it took about 5 min roughly from a cold start before it heated up
