Question for CA drivers with modded cars! ??????

oK so I plan to visit california for the NISSAN CONVENTION [240sx only] that goes from Chicago to Los angeles.

and I was wondering if anyone here knew what would happen if I were to drive my 240sx [ highly modded ] {custom exhaust, no tags for any mods, etc. }

Me drive my 240sx {illinois registered} and get pulled over in california. Would I get smog modification tickets?

will i receive any kind of citation for my visit to the state if i do not have tags that are not required in my state?

Hope this makes sense...

i just dont want to drive to california, get pulled over and get CAR MOD citations A.K.A. get my car taken away with huge sums in fines.

Ok, as long as your car is registered in another state, and you do not reside in ca...you should be fine.
