Question for brand new '08 350z? REALLY NEED HELP

Ok guys im new to this forum and I just bought an 08 350z but i have a very important question. To some of you might sound like a newbie question but I really don't know anything about this car. I want to put a nismo v1 spoiler on my car but i think the '08 hatchs are different from previous years and thats because my hatch has a crease of about one inch and half width at the end. So in other words the hatch starts to steep down a little bit and then it levels up a little bit with that crease at the end. It does not have a factory spoiler and i don't see a way where i can put the v1 base which is straight at the end of my hatch unless i put right before the crease starts. Any thoughts on this guys, please help im confused. All the v1 spoilers that I have seen on the 350z's starts from the very back of the hatch and i don't see that happening with that crease. I do believe that the car is exactly the same as the 2007. I have looked at photo's and some other places as well. The car is not supposed to be changed in for 2008. You can always call your friendly Nissan dealership and they can answer this question for sure.

well i know the hood is a bit different with a bump for the bigger engine but i don't know about the back. i appreciate the help

Bolt it down right before the crease, it should be structurally and aesthetically fine.

You should be fine. As far as I know the only change in the Z's body wise was the hood in 07.

I agree with everyone else, im almost positive the 2007 and 2008 Z are exactly the same so that wing should fit just as well as it would on an 07, but if you still look at it and it still doesnt look right you can always call your local nissan place to confirm.
