Where did you guys put the ambient sensor?

If I remember correctly, my ambient sensor was mounted under the front bumper reinforcement (metal bar). I didn't think the Stillen fascia would fit all the way due to the protrusion of the sensor underneath, so I uncliped it and taped it facing backward (toward the engine). I didn't pay much attention at the time; I thought it was the pre-wired fog lights connection that was left unconnected because I didn't have fog lights. Now I noticed that my temperature is off quite a bit (by about 8-10 degrees F) so I'm thinking it's because it's reading the ambient temperature from the engine instead of the vehicle's front air flow.

Did you guys relocate it a little lower, or to the driver's lower vent (fog light area), somewhere else, or didn't touch it at all?

I'm not sure what this piece is exactly. But I do know that after I installed my fascia that I have this little plastic piece that goes nowhere. Doesn't look like it does anything though, and there's not much leway with it
