I just purchased a 95 240sx for $4400. Was that a good price?

Two, the wife really really really wants a sun roof in the thing... she would be forever gratefull if I managed to make it a convertable.

Has this been done, and what would it require? Are there 240sx convertable's out there that I can find in a junk yard to gut for this?

(If your noticing the nismo sticker on my truck, yes I have nismo parts in its motor that they sell for the 91 240sx...same motor)

don't convert the s14 into a convertible. it will weaken the chasis. and the only 240sx convertible are the 1994 editions

another side note don't give you wife what she wants. that would just add more demands in the future. show her who's boss. don't be owned :ylsuper :ylsuper :ylsuper

and besides it's your car it's not hers

then again you can do what you want

1 - The convertible was offered for more than just '94. '92-'94 were the years the 'vert was available. In '94, only the convertible was for sale.

As far as converting an S14 into a 'vert, don't bother. It's not worth the money. That's a lot of fabrication that will probably have to be done by a shop or company. Only the S13 came in a convertible trim (and in limited numbers [about 3000 were made]), so you'll have difficulty finding one in a junkyard, and it won't really do you much good since most of the body parts won't transfer to the S14.

I don't know where I should start with that. So I think I'll just leave it alone.

Thank you, the truck is my siggy cause the car is my project car, and I dont wanna make it public till I feel its worth showing off. I preciate the honesty with the incompatable cars. Owell. Such is life. Ill just take it in for a sun roof or a t top and call it done for now.

And as far as allowing my wife to have a few demands, after all the cars and truck I have bought, built, resold, and such, she allows me so much more than she ever ask's. If she has a special request on any of my projects, Im more than happy to at least try for her :D

95's don't come with a t-top. only sunroofs. Try getting a sunroof one. Don't do any fabricaions to the roof, you'll loos structural integrity in case of a roll over. Leave it be. If it was meant to have a t-top or be a convertible, then it would've came like tha stock. Please don't ruin your car!
