hi,

i was wondering what i could reasonable expect to get for my 1993 ZX.

i have a 1993 300zx, non turbo which i've had since 1997. i believe i am the 2nd owner, but i have never done a carfax on her. anyway, a head gasket blew in february, and i have not had the $$ or inclination to repair her. it has been a difficult decision, but i am at the point where i'd like to find someone who loves these cars and sell her to them :-(

i live in melbourne, fl now. i have every maintenance/repair receipt since i bought her in oct. 1997.

the original motor has 135,819 miles plus about 11,000 miles. the speedometer quit working, and it was not repairable so ferman nissan in tampa, fl put in a used unit that had about 11,000 miles less than the original one. i have all the documentation showing exactly the difference in miles. the used unit was put in almost immediately after the speedometer quit working.

also, i put in a kenwood head unit, but i do have the original head unit which works. i have had the rear amps/speakers rebuilt at carstereohelp.com in longwood, fl which has a lifetime warranty on them.

anyway, as i stated above, i was wondering what i could expect to get for her???

thank you.

If she is absolutely mint I would say you can expect no more than 2k closer to 1k in reality unless you find someone that is absolutely in love with the color or interior (if you got one of the rare color combos)

Agreed, I have an NA in reasonable condition with a bad motor and a few other missing items now, and would not expect to get more than $800 for her and be lucky to get that...more like $400 or $500 realistically unless it runs or will easily be made to run which it will not, and sounds as if yours is in similar condition.

Essentially without fixing it your selling it as a parts car.
