Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum but I am not new to nissan's wonderful products (I grew up with Nissan's, BMW's and Ford's during my childhood). Now I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask but I have a question that's been bugging me for a while and I'm wondering if any R33 GTR owners in the US and abroad can help me out. I looked through the NHTSA's list of non conforming vehicles allowed for importation into the USA and to my joy I saw the R33 skyline on the list but they state that only 96-98 model year cars are allowed and that they require OBDII. Now seeing that once a car reaches 21 years of age it is exempt from the EPA standards, would that mean that OBDII would no longer be necessary when the R33 reaches 21? Thanks in advance everyone.
