Just checking: Should it feel pretty gutless? Around 3500, I get full boost and from there it rips, but if I floor it any lower, it kinda feels like the motor is struggling to make pace, but above...it just tears a$$ and gos. Seriosly, I am always shocked at how fast my car is in the mid range (and how quickly after 6500 the T2 small runs out of steam :(....tonite a quick run through the gears convinced me I need at least a T28 SOON)

I know this is a 1.8l w/ 8.5:1 compression, so I am not really surprised that it sucks off the cams...

No clue...

My ca18et w/ a DET T25 and DET 370cc injectors runs 9psi at a little over half throttle, and I have full boost by 2500 rpms. Go figure... But it basically stops accelerating at that point. I can put my foot to the floor and the exhaust gets louder... but I don't really get there any faster... £0£. Need to up the boost.

Do you have your knock sensor hooked up. I know when I had mine hooked up with stock stuff when I first swapped it I did not have it hooked up and it was guttless till about 4k.

All the wiring is in place, and I don't get a code for it.

do you still have the 2nd-ary butterfly's hooked up? If so, unhook them and see how it feels.

That is the big vac line on the driver's side of the intake mani right? The hose that comes from the air regulator? If not, could someone shoot me a pic?

the actuator for them is the gold thingy (?) on the back of the intake manifold. i'd give you a better decription but im 250 miles from my car right now.
