no kiddingchmercer wrote:in case you guys dont know, black and white face gauges look exactly the same at night. the white just helps daytime visibility.
You referring to HUD? Both my coupes have them (the totaled one and my new one). They work perfectly fine, and it's so awesome having your tech in the center (where it should be dammit) and the HUD becomes 2nd nature w/ your peripheral vision. I had a hard time adjusting to the analog speedo in the rental malibu As far as them breaking, i can't imagine the technology being so advanced that a FSM and a ohm-meter couldn't uncover the problem.Veriest1 wrote:I've always been interested in the clusters with the tach dead center and a LCD readout for the speedometer. Probably hard to find working and not worth it but who knows what years and or trims recieved them?
since you can change the color exactly the same way on white face gauges.. *shrug*cyrus240sx wrote:personally i think the black guages look better than white... and you can just add different color bulbs to make it look different... heres mine..
