Just woundering if the Kosei 16x8.5 with a 37mm offset, would they stick out more or would the sink in a little bit. I tired a search but did'nt didn't know how to word my question. They are the ones that fit a 96' 300zx tt off the tire rack web site.

What is your suspension? strut or coilover?

That size on the S13 will be in line with the fender, but if you dump the car and try to flush it up with camber, the tire will tuck under the fender instead of flushing up to it.

8.5" may fit on the rear, but on the front it would come oh so close to rubbing oem strut, and I can't see that fitting past a coilover. (front)

Even the N/A Z32 front with a small 205/55-16 comes so close to rubbing on the front..

test fit

I thought the n/a Z32 runs 225/50/16 stock?

the Z32 N/A runs 225-50-16 all around, Smith is referring to using a 205-55-16 on the same wheel to make it clear stock suspension stuff...

bleh.

Yeah, fitting the 205/55-16 onto the NA Z32 wheel was the only way to keep from tire rubbing the oem style strut. Not exactly sexy.

Oh you mean when the z32 was dropped that's what tire size you had to resort to? If so that's ghey. Not like the Z32 needs to be dropped anyway, its already low enough stock.

no no, Z32 wheel on front of S13 (5lug kit and Zbrake) with oem strut suspension.

225/50-16 required a spacer to clear the strut. 205/55-16 clears *just barely* on his car.

I was using the Z32 wheel as the widest + highest(wide + lower offset a better idea) offset I've seen fit the S13

OK so you will use the strut suspension as opposed to the coilover, which means clearance both at the top of the tire's edge and the backside are limited. The 8.5" with such a high offset will cause the tire to hit the strut. It won't fit
