I got some wheels today that are 18x8 +35 and 18x9 +45. They're OZ split 6 spokes's. I'm thinking to get 235's in front and 255's in back for tires. My Tein's should be here in about 2 months (ordered from Japan yesterday) which will give me a 2" drop. I can't wait, she's gonna be tight. Will these wheels fit OK or will I need spacers?

The +35 offset will probably fit in front, but I would be very concerned about the +45 offset for the rears and 255 tires. Let alone with lowering springs!

Check the fitment very carefully. Try putting on the wheels now (without tires) and see how they look before proceeding.

How about with 245's? They came off a Lex and I've seen new LS 18" wheels on a Y33 Q, so I'm pretty sure they'll work.

q45's have large rear fender and suspension clearance... owering springs wont cause a problem, only coilovers(since the body will be larger diam. on the coilover).

always test fit the wheel before mounting tires on them, once you mount tires, you cant return the wheels.-chet

245's should be okay, but I would still be a bit concerned about the +45mm offset causing the tire to rub against the suspension components.

So, if the offset was 38mm or 40, then I think they would fit more safely, although perhaps a bit tight under the fender with a 9" width. Here, the lowering springs get a bit tricky, because if the tire is under the fender, then the lowering may cause problems.

Chet may be right about the 255 on a 9" wheel, but I would be very surprised, to be honest! FWIW, Greg - aka AZhitman - has used 255 tires on an 16x8 rim with Eibach lowering springs, but I think his offset was 35mm or 40mm. 300Z wheels, as I recall.

So, I dunno ... maybe you can find a local tire place who is willing to experiment a bit and give it a shot and see what happens. Just be safe!

BTW, inre Lexus LS wheels, do they fit on the Q45 hub? I thought they used a different hub-centric size (but I may be wrong about this bit of info.)

I'm gonna see how this all works out this week. The wheels are OZ's so they are not the Lex bore, they have hub rings, so I'll need to get those. The Lex rims I saw on a Q said they had to modify the bore to fit.
