This is kind of a random question, but does anyone know how much a 25mm wheel adapter/spacer would weigh? I am contemplating purchasing either a 16lbs wheel with correct offset vs a 12lbs wheel needing a 25mm adapter/spacer...

I'm not certain, but I'd ALWAYS go with the proper wheel offset before using a spacer.

They are generally aluminum, I can give you 100% confidence each spacer will not weigh 4lbs :gapteeth: , so yes you would save weight since that's your concern

Well here is the whole story and why I am leaning more towards the lighter ones. First off, the heavier ones are actually 17 lbs and common, and the lighter ones are actually >11.x lbs and are quite rare. Another major factor is the fact that I can get the lighter ones for a little bit cheaper than the heavier ones both new. That would offset the cost of getting additional spacers a little bit, but the overall gain is a good weight reduction per wheel. Thanks for your opinions.

Spacers are extra light. Unfortunately my car came with some dumda$$ wheels that rubbed. I think I have 25mm spacing (?? it was a while ago) and all 4 together dont even weigh a pound. They're aluminum.

If you do get spacers, especially think ones like that, extended studs are highly recommended
