Question about Visor

..my drivers visor has no friction at all. If I put it down and against the door glass, when I turn left, it swings across to the windshield (annoying and unsafe). I thought I could take it down and tighten something, but I realised it's a spring that makes the tension. How can I make it tighter so I can actually use it? Sucks, cause I never need it for the windshield, but I want to use it against the door glass.

Mine, in my 92 Q, has that problem too. If I turn, it smacks my forehead.

there is a long write-up on the fix. do a search. i think "tangalora" (don't know if that's the right spelling), has a very large file on a step-by-step sunvisor fix. the vanity mirror on the driver side and the entire visor on pass. is broke on mine. got two visors off ebay that i'll be installing soon.

Mine is actually a little TOO tight. Have to use 2 hands to reposition it.... Previous owner must have never used it.

Mine are loose also. I believe the previous Infiniti tech on the board said to drill and pin it. Tangalora's excellent post is more about the weak mounts on the early Q. I don't think it addresses the free rotation in the z axis.
