In the process of putting together everything needed for a CA18DET>B12 transplant. I've gotten most of the mech parts, but having a problem with finding the electronics. I have a CA18DET ECU but no harness, at least not one with an ECU plug. Just a cut harness that came with the motor. Here's the $64 question..... Can I use a CA16DE harness and ECU, socketed, and plug in a CA18DET eprom?

I believe (don't quote me) that JWT can make a CA16DE ECU work.

Yes, I found a reference to using a JWT modded CA16 ECU on another forum, so I believe you're right on. I guess my original question should have been 'what other mods are needed to use a CA16 ECU on a CA18DET'. The problems I have with going to JWT are the cost(one post said something like $1,100 Canadian!!) and time to get the thing modded. I bought a CA18DET ECU plug (to wire up a harness) and stock eprom from 'knightrider' over a month ago (at least I Paypal'd the funds). Haven't gotten anything from him yet! He supposedly works at JWT.
