OK. i have a stock redtop sr20 with basic bolt ons. if i want to up my boost to 12psi what do i really need so that i can boost that much without worrying abot leaning out or running to rich. i was thinking all i need is:

Boost controller, Fuel pump, & a tune (like a SAFC).

Do it really need things like a fuel pressure regulator & bigger injectors. Im not really looking to go real heavy tuning. just up the boost and have alittle fun without worrying about damaging the motor.

please let me know what you guys think. thanks alot.

12 would be fine with little to no modification.

I had a fuel pump installed with my swap but other than that i was boosting 12 with no afc of injectors. i now have an afc and boost controller and my boost is up to about a bar thats on my t25, you will notice that if you up it to higher than 12 boost will drop off. i have a t28 to go on real soon.

You should be a hi press fuel pump even if you're running the stock boost.

I don't have one. I seem to be getting by fine, but can you explain why I should invest in the 255lph over the stock? Am I causing damage, or .. lowering efficiency in any way? My SR is running stock everything as well.

its better to have the hi flow pump to have it even if you dont persay need it at this time. your stock pump doent flow enough to fully support a turbo engine even if your getting by for now. a 255 pump will flow enough and hold pressure stable for your car and even if its to much your fuel pressure regulater will control how much fuel pressure you should have so more is better in that situation if there is to much pressure or flow your regulator will just send extra fuel back to the tank most ppl will agree get a hi flow pump.
