I see all these turbos all over the place but a majority of them are for the SR20I have the stock KA24de and I just wanted to know if I'm able to use one that's labeled for the SR in conjunction with my motor and how I would go about doing that if it is possible....

anything would help really... thanks

Simple. Buy a Megan or SSAC exhaust manifold. You will be able to use the downpipe, hell, everything from the turbo side of an SR on your KA. Barring internals and sensors, there are few engine specific parts between the SR and KA.

Actually, you can use the turbo in a Ka. People do it all the time.... You would have to get an aftermarket T2 flanged turbo manifold. You can find the cheap ones on ebay for about 125 bucks shipped. But remember you get what you pay for.

However, a SR turbo is really small. The ka24 is a big 4 cyl, and is much better off with a t3 sized turbo. To be more specific, the best turbo for our engine is a t3/t4 hybrid, 50 trim, .63 ar.

depending on what turbo you choose to get, just make sure the manifold's flange will take it (i.e. t2, t3). you can use an sr20 turbo as long as you have a t2 flange

I was under the impression boring is more for n/a applications... with those cylinder walls that much thinner... a tubos just gonna make it a ticking time bomb

Sleeving is basically cutting out the current cylinder walls and replacing them with stronger thicker walls. Darton makes some, just not sure for the KA. Pick up the ne DSport magazine, they have an article on sleeving.
