Can I purchase a DOHC turbo kit and put it on a SOHC????...... I have 89 and I want my turbo in my car by the spring.... I have 175,000 on my car (LOVE IT) I can pick up a rebuild kit for 300 dollars... So by doing this i believe that she'll be ready for a turbo .. I'm not trying to get 500HP.... I want the feeling and sound of a turbo!!!! By the spring.... I'm on a tight budget so what I buy and how it goes into play depends on the information I get from all of "you" I can't thank everyone enough... I went from one day doing a SR to turbo a ka24de motor to now prob. easier for me throwing a turbo on my 89----- since i have it in my garage ready to get ripped apart once more...... any ideas on how to go with this? i want cheap and easy..... YES i know its never cheap but cheaper than a sr swap.........-----------------I want a Strong running quick car that looks like something No one around me has ever seen.... B/c I see these 17yr old (i'm sorry) A$$hol3s and they don't know nothing about cars and they think they're chillen IN there prelude with an exhaust that their step mom bought them..... you know what i mean... When i do all of this to my car... I will lose my license in a month lol................ to show these KiDs what heppens when you GOT a TEAM in your corner helping you along the way....... (you are making this possible for me to do)

No DE turbo kit will fit a E motor. The exhaust ports aren't even close. But JGS sells a turbo kit for the E model, so thats the option I'd go with.

Slow down and type clearly.
