I was wondering if any of you guys have used or heard anything about the STONE RACING SPORTS NISSAN POWER / XS-POWER KA24DE TURBO MANIFOLD found on ebay. It looks nice and has a good price but i want to know if it is good.

You might want to do a search for ssautochrome....

Many opinions have been expressed on these forums about them, mostly negative.

Although the reliability of this particular manifold hasn't been proven nor contradicted, the main rep for ssautochrome is poor

I think I should buy one and see if they are any good. Companies have been known to come out with a shady product at first and turn around. The mani looks to be of nice design. I need to get a closer look at the welds though. I'm gonna buy one...

More info to follow...

I have to disagree about ebay (about EVERYTHING being crappy). I have bought a lot of things off ebay for my car, and everything I have received is still working well on my car, intake, shocks, springs, struts, rear sway bar, sub-frame connectors...

Just check the salers feedback and you can usually see if they sale quality stuff or not

You kids are woosies. Ebay is the best thing that ever happened, just because one product sucks doesn't mean they all do.

I recieved the SS today, although it was a CA18DET mani, they shipped the wrong one. It looked very nice to me, welds were good quality, runners and collector were all ported. Definitly a nice mani.

For the record, the old mani's were made of a mixed alloy, which has since been changed. They've also changed the design of several mani's to include better bracing and such.

I was impressed enough that I'm 90% sure I'm using these for my kits. But we'll see how they do under 1 month of really high temps...

More info to come, when I actually get the right mani.
