Hello, there is a tuned ecu on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

i have all the things listed but im running a fmic and 14psi, do you guys think this will be a good investment, i dont think i will be doing more engine upgrades for a while, working on suspension other things now, just kind of want to get a little kicker, i heard they are tuned for japan gas which is equal to about 100 octane and japan ecu's are bad for that reson, any info?

thanks.

japan uses a diffrent octane rating system than us, our 93 is comperable to their 98.as a good rule of thumb dont run a tuned ecu on your car unless it was tuend for your engine specificaly, there are just too many variables which can make it go boom with a tuned ecu.

pre tuned ecus are better for tempoary settings and not to make alot of power. they are usualy tuned pretty rich to be safe.
