found a 91 shell, great exterior, only it has a destroyed automatic transmission. Plans are for the sr20 swap, so my question is what will it take to convert to a standard transmission?

dammit.... misinformation on the internet again.

If you get a clip, it will have everything oriented for RHD. That means that you can use pedals, slave cylinder, and that's about it. You will need to find clutch lines, the interior trim, and a manual driveshaft, if it's not included with the clip, which it usually isn't.

Please guys, do not give out information that you are not sure is true.

Well im sure I have an extra driveshaft laying around, im sure clutch lines aren't hard to mess up, I had to make my own powersteering lines which I believe is the smae soft metal type used in the clutch line. the center trim peice is the same right hand or lefthand, its the Center peice. So yeah, might be a few things that you still have to get, but overall you will save you headache of finding everything!Oh, and BTW if you think missinformation is a new thing than you haven't been on the net for a while, there is a ****load of wrong info on the net, but filter though it and experiment yourself, this is only to help you get on your way, not to babystep you all the way though it...what would we do without the net?

Don't forget you'll need the manual transmission brace/cross member that will bolt the transmission to the chassis. You will also need the 5 speed black plastic console (the console that sorrounds your stick shift, climate push button, radio). You could use the automatic one, however, you'll need the plastic pieces that will hold your outer boot. If you need the picture (yeah, picture speaks a thousand words), I can help.

...look above, and the transmission crossmember comes with the transmission, atleast mine did, but they seem to break easy seeing as both mine were busted at the same spot.
