hey guys, I got a question about my ca. I was talking to a friend' of mine's dad at the local drift event today about how my ca boggs when I go more than half throttle and he told me to check my tps. So I check it and we notice at the harness plug only has 2 connections in it while the tps has 3. Now I get home and I check my old ca sitting in my garage and its the same, 3 connections in the tps and 2 on the harness plug.

Shouldn't there be 3 connections on the harness side? As for the bogging, I've replace plugs, coils, changed mafs, checked for boost leaks...could the tps be the problem?

I believe with the RB it only has 3 wires if is a Automatic.
The 3rd pin is he full throttle switch, I assume to tell the transmission to switch down a gear or to lock up the converter.

No the CA's have a WOT switch in the TPS which isn't used by the ECU hence there is on wire running form it.
