Actually I had this done on my new work xt7's. I took it into the shop they took the stock wheels off the car, then popped the tires off, moved the TPMS onto my work XT7's and put on the falken 452's. They charged me only 50$ to do it, seems like a small price to pay.toxik wrote:I got a quick question regarding TPMS sensors. I just bought new wheels and plan on getting tires once they come in. I don't have TPMS sensors for them, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to unwrap my stock wheels take the TPMS sensors off and put em on the new ones.... only because it seems like this would be a lot of work or money for the labor. Can any of u guys who have non-stock wheels chime in on what I should do.
P.S. I won't be putting the wheels on myself but through a shop rather.
hmm yeah $50 doesnt seem to bad. thanks, i'll know what price to look for when im shopping around to do this.spockrock wrote:

If you mean two sets of wheels with two sets of senors every time you change your wheels you will need the tires sensor system reset, it does not work with two sets of sensors. Which is a 50$ charge.LegendRacer wrote:how much are the sensors? because if you use the stockers for winter, it would be a ***** to switch it back and forth every little bit... id rather have 2 sets of rims/wheels each with the sensors..save you time and money on the long run
