Question about Towing a Nissan Frontier from California to North Carolina

We are planning on towing a 2003 Nissan Frontier from CA to NC in a few weeks with a tow dolly behind a Uhaul truck.The truck gear shift will be in neutral of course. Should the 4 wheel shift be in neutral also?
