Currently I'm planning on using the front springs, struts and rear shocks from a 350Z along with coupe rear springs on my 03 Sedan (non sport btw)Later on down the road, I want to put it on Tokico D-Specs, but they have different models, front and back for the Z, and the G35, so which ones or what combonation should I get?

Rear:DE3744 - 350ZDE3748 - G35 Coupe and Sedan

Front:DU3742/3743 - 350ZDU3746/3747 - G35 Coupe and Sedan

I dunno about the D-specs but I'm running Z springs and Z shocks on my car and I have no probs. I have H&R springs and Tokico blue (non adjustable) shocks. Search around...i have a bunch of pics posted of my car with that setup.

Why dont you just get coilovers? Then you dont have to install adjustable shocks. Plus if you get Tein coilovers you can get an EDFC .

johnparkyourcar: thanks, I did find a thread after much searching. I can basically use either, so I'll probably use z struts up front and g35 shocks in the back (possibly z if I get a good deal on a full set)

NFSP 350: Why don't you take your worthless opinions somewhere else!!!!And why don't you check your profile, there is no 1994 350Z, moron.

I actually bought the whole seup (practically a steal) from a guy on the other forum. He used it for a month and upgraded to coilovers so it was pretty much brand new. The only thing is that its non adjustable. it makes driving around kinda hard especially when my clearance is about the height of a box of cigarettes. But if you have the money, get coils. But comparing the Z and G setups, just keep in mind that the Z will be a little bit lower than the G springs.

Oh so many sports cars huh? Like what a supercharged scion I've seen you post about? Please! Or an fd that you were going to engine swap? Like we haven't all heard that one before. Just how far did you get with that anyway?Try this one on for size, every car I've owned since I was 17 was over 270 HP and RWD.A 1994 Trans-Am, a 2000 Trans-Am, and now an 03 G35, so don't lecture me about sports cars. And as for your comment about where I live, check the state, yeah, Florida, that's the sunshine state, not the mud capital of the world. You probably live just down the road from the waterboy.

How exactly does ownership of two Redneck Ferraris make you an expert in sports cars?

So tell me "sunshine", those mullet-mobiles have the T-tops? Did you rock out to Skynyrd while cruising around in your wife-beater, smokin' Malboro Reds and speeding to your job to man the controls of the Tilt-a-whirl at the local carnival fair?

In the same way as ownership of a wrong-wheel-drive Scion and a Mazda with no motor make NFSP 350 one!

First of all, only one of them did. Second, what if I did? At least I don't drive a car that generates remarks about 'coming out' Mr. MX5And one more thing... It was the Gravitron

Ignoring the hissyfit amongst the "krew" in this thread... Let's not have it happen again.

Use the ones designed for the G. I have the same setup on my 03 G Coupe, with the 350Z Tein springs. Works great.

Well, it was fun while it lasted but I guess I should clarify so nobody gets mad. NFSP 350 (Wes) NFSP_MX5 (Trent) and myself are all friends, actually Wes is my cousin, and we're all in the same car club (hence the 'NFSP')So the hissyfit was just a joke, all in good fun. I almost fell off my chair laughing at Trent's Skynyrd/Marlboro/Tilt-a-Whril comment! I'm actually really surprised one of the mods didn't say something sooner!

So anyway, back on subject...

Glad to find some one using a similar setup. One of the main reasons for my asking was because I know shocks can wear out faster if they're run to close to their limits, like say if you run non-sport sedan shocks with 350 springs. But if you're running Tein springs for a Z on a G Coupe and the D-Specs for the G are doing fine, then they shouldn't have any problem at all on a Sedan with stock Z springs.BTW, how long have you been running that setup, and how do you like the D-Specs?
