Question about tire pressure sensors

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Hello everyone on the Sentra foum! This is my first time posting on this one. I'm usually in the Z32 section.

So, knowing that I am a Nissan enthusiast, one of my college professors asked me a question about his Sentra. He wants to know if there is a way to disable the tire pressure sensors. He did not specify the model year. Apparently the sensors drive him nuts with malfunctions.

So, is there a way to disable them? If so, is it advisable and safe? Also, is there an easy, cheap, and recommended fix for it that he could do?

Thanks Sentra owners. I trust you'll be as helpful as those on the Z32 forum.

p.s. I'll try to get the model year for you later on.

Just have them removed. He will have to deal with the idiot light on the cluster though. I don't know any way to just disable them. He can try downloading a FSM and see maybe if there is a fuse, but I doubt it.

thanks for the feedback. for the record, it's a 2008 Sentra and he has the same problem in an '07 Honda CR-V.
