question about timing setting.

So you unplug the throttle position sensor then adjust the cas. Plug back in tps and check timing with timing light. Is that right?

yes.

edit: you can check the timing with the TPS unplugged. set everything then go back and double check when you re-plug the tps

also, my boost is only running at consistent 6psi, It will run at 8psi when throttle wide open. Vaccum is at 15psi. was at 20psi earlier. Checked all couplers wtf mate?

make a boost leak checking device. Its sure fire way to check for leaks.

whats the base timing for an rb25 ? as in from the factory? and what is recomend timing for 12 psi on stock ecu ?

Factory timing is 15 degrees advanced. 4th mark from the left on the crank indicator when you have a timing light on it (verify that with the FSM before actually timing the car). You have to do this timing at 700 or so RPM as the timing advances itself in higher revs.

I don't know the answer to your question about advancing timing with 12psi. I know that with my PFC, you always time the engine to factory specs (15 degrees) and then adjust timing from there in the IGN tables inside the PFC.
