Hello i tried to find a tread where it explains with details how to retard time on a ka24de (planning to run 9 psi). I will be installing everything on saturday but i do not how to do it. I know that i have to retard it hald a degree for each psi but i do not know how much is a degree, to which side turn it and how to really do it. If you can point me a tread which explainst this.PD: i did not posted it at ka-t because they will tell me to search which i did.Not get me wrong i love ka-t forum but rules are rules.ThanksTona

turn the distributor counter clockwise, the degrees are marked on the crank, you obviously didn't search hard cause there is al kinds of info on how to set the timing on a KA....

not to sound to rude but If you don't know how to set the timing on an engine are you sure your ready to install a turbo on one your self?

searched for "timing" and" Retarding timing" came up with this....in about a minut and a half...zerothread?id=138481http://forums.nicoc ... ad?id=2168

also maybe try looking at a fsm? link in my sig...
