question about the sr20det

im interested in swaping a sr20det into my 91 240sx but i heard that if you have an sr20det motor you cannot pass smog. is this true?

I probably shouldn't be replying, but it depends on your state. In Ca, it won't pass unless you know someone to help. In Texas I don't think it should pass but it probably will.

This may sound crazy, but maybe you can look into getting a CARB EO? Corky Bell talks about that in his book "Maximum Boost"
