question about the sr20det clutch

i started taking apart my newly acquired redtop today and i noticed on the clutch plate, it had 'exedy' and 'nismo' stamped into it. i've only started working on nissan's recently so i'm not sure if all the stock clutch plates are identical to mine or if it's an aftermarket plate? the rest of the motor is stock....

yea my stock clutch did not say nismo or exedy ha ha wish it did though im still usin the stock one!!

You more than likely have a Nismo clutch... check the color of the disc. If it is silver then you have a Nismo coppermix clutch and I absolutely LOVE mine. The engagement is awesome with the non-sprung disc.

It will hold about 300 - 330 lb. ft. IIRC.
