My CD player is playing burned mp3s fine, however I am having a difficult time figuring out how to get separate folders. I use itunes to burn. I created a playlist with 10 different albums, but when i insert the cd, the only thing that the player recognizes is the ARTIST and TRACK name. I assumed that each folder would be a different album, but it did not turn out that way. i burned it as a data cd and all 112 songs came up in 1 folder - that being the ROOT FOLDER. I would really appreciate if someone can help me out and let me know how to get separate folders. I must be labeling or burning it the wrong way...Thank you for your help.JL

I believe you have to burn the CD with the songs already in folders. I have done this without any problems. I used Nero to burn the CD. It's very easy, as you place your songs into the folders as you would like them to be organized before you burn the CD. With Nero, you have options to burn different types of discs (MP3 CD, WMA CD, data CD, etc.). You can probably do this using your software since you say that the player plays the songs (although I must admit that I wouldn't be surprised if iTunes won't do this. You might even try just basic Windows or Mac burning programs) -- just place them into folders before you burn. Hope it works out for you. I really like having the song info display on the screen, not to mention being able to have more than 100 songs on a single CD.
