Question about the old school hks BOV

does the 1st gen. hks Bov give off the high pitch sound as the new gen or is it just like a whooshing sound like the BLitz?

no idea. the sound of a BOV really should not be your main concern anyway. besides, if you still have a MAF, then you should recirculate. but thats just my 2cents.

i have the older hks bov, the one that has two ports that need a vacuum source in order to work properly. it has a whoosh sound, not the high pitched squeel

They all do to some extent from what I've heard.

Just take the factory one out.
