So I am looking to buy the motordyne 5/16 copper iso thermal spacer. And of course im doing my search for prices as well. But in doing my research i found three different places the cheapest being nissan race shop.

Now the question is, They ship it at 4lbs. Amazon ships it for 12lbs and motordyne themselves ships it 8.75lbs.

Is there something im missing? Or is just the shipping material they use to protect it during shipping?

Probably.

It's a good purchase. I liked mine ('03 G Coupe).

I can't imagine that it's anything but a difference in packaging. In which case I wouldn't automatically go with the cheapest/lightest estimate. Are you planning on getting the MREV down the road too?
