I was replacing my radiator and had to jack up my car slightly. Went to the trunk...no jack. Oops. Probably should have checked when I bought it. Anyway, I need one, but my local junk yard is short on Q's. What do they look like? Anything special, or will any Nissan jack work? Also, whats with the funky design of that spare tire? Thanks

Dont use the stock jack for anything but emergencies. Buy a 2-ton (or greater) jack from Sears. Mine was $15.

Jesda is spot on! My 92 Q jack was piece of junk, and broke at the crank attachment. Pot metal! Obviously made by displaced UAW workers, living in Japan! Replaced with screw jack from Walmart for about same $15 price! Fits in same area that original POS did!

I've got a nice floor jack. It's big, and heavy, and I don't want to have to carry it around in my trunk just for that one occasion when I might have a flat tire.

Harbor freight (I think it was harbor freight) sells a jack for $50 that will fit in the stock area, except its 12 volt powered.. Would be really ncie for if you have a flat tire or something...
