Hope you dont mind me trolling over here for good info. I love the G35C btw.

My GF is in the market for the car, and Im trying to point her to the G35. My question is....is there any difference in the coupe vs sedan, other than the 2 extra doors and not as streamline body?

thanks.

lots of differences. ZERO acceleration difference and the coupe has a slight edge in handling (I think the coupe was better than a sport suspension sedan by 0.01 g on the skidpad)

go read infiniti's web page. check the specs yourself.

coupe gets brembo brakes with the 6MT, 18 inch staggered wheels, costs 2k to 3k more for comparable equipment, dual exhaust, will run you about 15% higher in insurance.

AWD is out for the sedan effective December (5AT only however)

Sedan has optional REAR reclining seats, a trunk and lots more room.

Coupe looks a whole lot better. Sedan is a better choice if practicality is ANYWHERE on your list, cause you get to have all the fun driving it but nowhere near the head turns.

The 6 MT Sedan is a sweet ride. The coupe is very cool, but you can't haul much more than groceries and a friend.

Unless you really need awd, might want to consider jumping on a regular G35 sedan right now, there are great deals available, you might not want to lease, but subidized and advertised naitional pricing via leases is a good way to compare.....example, 0 down, $339/month for a G35 sedan, I virtually guarantee the AWD will never be near that at least for a year. Hitman might want to comment and I think he can ship you a car anywhere in the country. And I am not quoting prices for him, only relating what I am seeing in the papers here.

The coupe is also available in an automatic transmission, just an FYI, not reason to pass on the coupe just for that...I'd drive both. The coupe is more of a sports car and the the sedan is a entry luxo-sedan. The sedan is not the best looking car IMHO, but coupe looks really cool to me...both drive GREAT!
