Hi,

I'm having trouble trying to locate the air bag ECM on my '95 300zx 2+2. I tried to locate it through various forums, but have not landed upon the exact location of the air bag ECM on the vehicle.

I bought the car with a front in collision and of course the air bags were deployed, but I have replaced both of the air bags on the car (steering wheel and passenger), but the Air Bag light remains on and stays on; doesn't blink or anything. Based on what I've read, I'm guessing the ECM is fried.

I also want to note that the center collision sensor is missing, but even then, the air bag light should be blinking, but it is not. The light glows a solid red.

I also wanted to ask if there is a way to reset or bypass the air bag system so that the light will turn off and
act as normal, even with a messed up ECM. Is that possible?

I am trying to get the car to pass inspection, and the inspector said this is the only issue that is keeping it from passing.

What is the best solution to this problem?

At this point, I really would like the car to just pass the inspection and I could work on the air bag kinks later, but I really need some sort of quick fix the get that light working as normal.

Thank you for reading.
