Question about the 93 ECU?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i was told that the 93 ecu does not have the rev limiter in it, is this true?thanks for anybody that can help me.peace

pretty sure it has a limiter...then again i dont think i ever went over 100 in my ka! haha. if you want to get rid of your limiter throw an auto ecu in there

Well thats what i have right now. im putting it back togeather and havenot got a chance to drive it . iv had as mt and it had a rev chip in it.thanks

rev limiter? yes.

as long as we are talking manuel, most manuals will go to 7200 rpms (on stock gauges) in neutral. usually only 7000 under full load.

now put the shifter into 5th with the clutch in. is there a limiter? it should be around 5k.

speed limiter on a manual ecu is round 115, autos are limitless.

i have a auto ecu in my car! and i tested were the rev limiter was at and it was at 7500! but then again grab a JWT ecu and your set no ev limiter!

testing where the rev limiter is at in neutral and under load is too different things.

and yes i think it was made quite clear that autos has no speed cut
