question about the 300zx rear 5lug convertion

ok well i have gotten a couple of pairs of rear 5 lug conversion but i went to a local pick n pull and they have a set there but they are different .. i think its called an anchor bolt or something like that... its like a piece thats sticks up. But would these still work for the convertion.. i have had a couple of 5 lugs but they never had that and im not sure if those would work thanks

you took the hubs off of a Z32 right? Or did you take the upright and all.

no i didnt take anything off... i went to a pick n pull just becuase i was like 2 mins away from were i was going and i seen it so ima go in the morning and hopefully its still there.... but those have something called and anchor bold and the other ones i have gotten have not.. would they still work the same?

1st, look at the 300zx fsm to know exactly what your talking about please so that we can better assist you, just google 300zx fsm and you will find an online version

2nd, only 300zx n/a models have the right REAR hubs that can swap onto a 240 so make sure it is not a turbo 300zx or you will be waisting your money

If your just swaping out hubs, then you need to unbolt the stock rear hubs off the upright and attach new hubs and torque the big axle bolt to spec. Again, look in the fsm for exact specs and i hope you have a torque wrench. there is no anchor bolt involved with this setup, only a big axle bolt with a cotter pin.

see how these have like that little bracket thing on top? well all the other 5 lug hubs that i have gotten dont have that i was just wondering if they are the same... im just switching the hubs no brakes or anything

looks like an ebrake cable retainer.
