I have an 01 with a vq30 engine. As I am rather new to imports I have a few new-b questions. Is the vq35 simply a stroked vq30 or is there a difference in the block? I would imagine some ecu adjustments or swap would have to be made. I have always built american cars and motors so I don't know how much work it would take to get the extra power. If this is the only difference, is there a stroker kit made for the 3.0l to a 3.5. Would I need a new wiring harness and have to replace a bunch of different sensors?

I am interested in adding a Jim Wolf Pop charger with Heat Shield and a Stillen Cat back Exshaust. Has anyone had any problems with the addition I am thinking of making? And can anyone provide any feedback on how much actual power this will give my car and how many Hp this will add?

The VQ likes it when you run your hands on it, and gently caress it underneath it's head

For the VQ30DE bore and stroke are 93 mm and 73.3 mm with a compression ratio of 10.0:1

The VQ35DE has a bore of 95.5 mm and stroke of 81.4 mm.

If you have a VQ30 and want more displacement, it's almost certainly cheaper to swap in a VQ35 from a junkyard.

I've never seen a VQ in the JY. If there were, I'd be all over that.....
