So I have yet another prob w/ my wheels. My stocks were being swapped out last night & the Nissan special key for the wheel locks broke on the last wheel. So I have my 1 stock wheel on & aftermarket wheels on the other 3. I called Nissan & they said they have a Master key & they can take my wheel off. But I'm not able to get to there until Friday. Is there anyway I can just take my car somewhere else & they can just cut the wheel lock off or something? Bc I obviously can't use those wheel locks anymore anyway & have no need for new stock wheel locks for another 6 or 7 months. Is this possible? Or do I just need to suck it up & wait 2 days to go to the Dealership & pay their prices to get my wheel changed? Actually I don't know if they'll even put an aftermarket wheel on the car? Bc the wheels are 20s & my stock wheels are 16s. hmmm...

Can you take a pic of the stock wheel lock that they have on?

You should never have any locks on your car that YOU dont have the key to!

The wheel locks are a waste of time...seriously they are. Anyone that has access to simple tools can get them off with ease...

My grandpa's former Chrysler had wheel locks on them, and he lost the key as well. He took it to the local Midas (they made sure it was his car first...) and then just used an impact wrench and pulled the suckers right off. Quite honestly they are more hassle than benefit...just take it to a Midas or something - they can pull them off.

Note that they will most likely be destroyed.

I did have the key, it's just that it got stripped, the inside was mangled, so the last wheel lock couldn't be taken off. Someone I work with actually came in for me for a half hour & I ran over to the Dealership. They just took the wheel lock off for me (& didn't charge me-thnk god!) So I'm good now.

Yea I just had them on bc the dealership gave me them for free when I bought my car. They took it off & it wasn't destroyed but doesn't matter bc the key is destroyed anyway so they're unusable. lol Thanks guys.
