Question about SR20DE & SR20DET.. same parts?

My motorset never came with the intake tube that runs from the filter to the turbo.

I have been told that the intake tube from a US spec SR20DE is exactly the same, but the source that old me was unsure.

Can anyone confirm this?

If it is the same part, does anyone have a part number?

your pictures seem to confirm that they may fit ?

Granted the motors are mounted completely differently, but it looks like the general shape / position of the intake tube is relatively similar to the SR20DET ?

It looks like it has the same "bottom-to-"S curves"-up" shape.

Does anyone know beyond using pictures as reference?

By all means try, but I very seriously doubt they are the same peice.

i was hoping someone actually had experience beyond what I could assume by looking at pictures before I go out and buy something that I can't return.

They are different. You can tell by the pictures, the SR20DE tube is like 6 inches to a foot long. The SR20DET is about 1.5+ feet long. Also remember that on the SR20DET the tube hooks up the the compressor inlet tube which is relatively small. The SR20DE goes straight from the MAFS to the throttle body.

uhm.. you could probably make it work.. i'd be willing to bet the TB is the same size. I know the tb on my stanza is the same size as the inlet..

So where the heck can i find a replacement intake tube? There's no such thing as an aftermarket one...
