question about sr20 mainfold

Will the stock sr20 turbo exhuat mainfold bolt right on the ka24de?

well the KA24DE manifold bolts to the SR with slight filing of the holes. i dont see how it doesnt work the other way around.

not at all without a TON of work. the bolts patterns are extremely different.

Lol, you could cut the second and forth runners and try to rotate the flanges.... Another member on this site tried it and had several issues.

what about if you cut the head flange off of the runners and weld on a ka head flange. how do the sr runners line up with the ka ports, are they close?

nevermined i just looked and the ports are shaped diffrently anyways. the ka is kinda like a rounded off square and the sr is and oval.

I have a SR20 down pipe off my turbo down pipe on my KA, kinda different than what your doing, but it fits.

somebody tried this, he bought a ssac sr20 mani and re-welded it to ka, didn't look good but he just did it to prove it could be done.

That member also had an exhaust leak where the manifold met the block.
