question about spl outer tie rods and z33 inner tie rods

im looking to get spl outer tie rods and i was reading that you need to get z33 tie tein inner tie rods for it to work properly for drifting.. do the z33 inner tie rods install with no modification??? or do i need to do something to propperly install these to work i have an s14 also if you have pics of this setup may i see it??

Yes if you buy the spl outer tie rods they will only fit z32 inner tie rods so you would have to buy the inner and outer tie rods separatly for a total price of over $400. Or you can get tein inner and outer tie rods for $160 form frsport.com. But then again every one has there own opinions.

I have the SPL V5 tie rod ends and they will work with z32 best for street/grip or you can get Z33 with a spacer for Drift.

They are much beefier than tein tie rods ends.

i got spl v5 ends and z33 inners today.. i orderd them it only cost 350 with 3 day shipping i wanted to get that becuase i need them before the comp thats comeing up this next saturday... soo i should have no trouble installing tein z33 inner tie rods it will work with no mods???

btw i use to live in elizibethtown pa when i was yonger... i lived there, tamaqua, garb a** allentown, and i was born in doylestown lol

ok i have a debate about this. i know on the s13's the inner tie rod is weaker than the s14's. i have been looking around about this and i can only find people doing the spl outer and z32 inners on s13. my ? is, is my stock s14 inner tie rod just as strong as the z32's or 33's. because i was reading somewhere (i think it was on wiki) that s13 owners should upgrade to s14 or z32 inner tie rods.....

These Outer Tie Rod Ends are designed to be used with 90-96 300ZX (Z32) or 03+ 350Z (Z33) inner tie rods on the 240SX. The Z32 or Z33 inner tie rods are much stronger than the stock 240SX tie rods, are relatively cheap and easily sourced, and provide for a much larger range of toe adjustment than the stock 240SX inner/outer tie rod setup.

the only bad thing about z33 or z32 rods is they are way shorter then s14 rods soo if you do a knuckle upgrade such as ma motorsports or powerd by max steering knucles you may not get as much angle as you want to acheeve but we will see i have a knuckle kit on the way the z33 inners are deffffffffffffffff super thing compared to oem

is replacing your tie rods a "must" i mean my oem ones arnt shot yet sooo... did you notice a big difference. and if i were to do this can you write an exact list of deatails of what you need. as to the inner, outer, i heard there is a spacer needed and you said about a knuckle...? just trying to get as much knowledge as i can. thanks you
