question about speed sensors

s13 and s14 speed sensors are differnt but can i use a s13 speed sensor for my 97 transmission?

also can i put a stock factory 95 240sx vlsd into a base model open diff without anything else (meaning install it into my open diff pumpkin). i dont have to replace the pumpkin, driveshaft etc right? i think i heard i have to get a abs driveshaft. im not sure. let me know thanks.
